Reflecting on some of the challenges of delivering faculty development trainings to already busy and time-constricted faculty members, Colleen Kalynych, EdD and colleagues from the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville developed a knowledge- and skills-based, time-sensitive, and practical program disseminated via email.

2022 David C. Leach Awardee Han Yu Stephanie Liou, MD is a primary care pediatrician at Alivio Medical Center – a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Chicago. Dr. Liou recently completed a general pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital.

Dr. Holly Humphrey's Marvin R. Dunn Keynote Address at the 2022 ACGME Annual Educational Conference included humble and heartfelt notes of appreciation and acknowledgement and a call to action to transform GME.

A powerful statement and call to action for the graduate medical education (GME) community was delivered by ACGME President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas J. Nasca, MD, MACP in his President’s Plenary on Thursday, March 31, 2022, the kick-off for the virtual ACGME Annual Educational Conference.

The 2022 ACGME Annual Educational Conference kicked off—appropriately, on National Doctors’ Day—with five pre-conferences, each tailored to a specific role in graduate medical education (GME). Despite the virtual setting, the pre-conferences featured community, connection, and deep collective learning.

2022 David C. Leach Awardee Beverly Aiyanyor, MD is an attending physician in the Boston Children’s Hospital Network. She represents a team of about 20 who worked on the project being recognized with this award, including senior residents Dr. Neha Limaye and Dr. Rohini Jain.

2022 Debra L. Dooley GME Program Coordinator Excellence Awardee Skyler Kiddy, MS, works as the program coordinator for the pediatrics program at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma. 

2022 David C. Leach Awardee Anai Kothari, MD is an assistant professor in surgical oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. At the time of the award nominations, Dr. Kothari was a clinical fellow in complex general surgical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
